In 2013 EUCEN finishes another project about Validation of Prior Learning (VPL) called OBSERVAL-Net with the objective to create a network of VPL professionals. This project was a follow-up from EUCEN’s project OBSERVAL.
OBSERVAL-Net created an online community of Validation Professionals in LinkedIn, developed its push for networking in 8 European countries, collected over 200 pieces of literature in the area of VPL, designed an advocacy pack to promote VPL, and deepen in three working areas: Bottom-up approach, Validation professionals, and Work-based competences. OBSERVAL-Net wrote a manifesto and an eBook “The VNIL Report” in 2013.
Some materials collected or developed by OBSERVAL-Net were the basis to start EUCEN’s work on validation of competences of migrants and refugees in the VINCE project.
