The 38th eucen Conference took place on 5-7 November 2009 in Jönköping (SE). 

Are we prepared to offer what each individual needs, made to measure, to ensure the professional development and the success of individuals? How can universities ensure quality and innovation in meeting individual needs?

Included in the programme of the conference there was a long session to prepare proposals for the next Calls on the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP).
