People-led, technology-powered future of university lifelong learning
eucen is pleased to announce that the 57th EUCEN Annual Conference will take place from 2 to 4 June 2027 at the University of Tartu, Estonia.
Under the theme “People-led, technology-powered future of university lifelong learning”, the conference will bring together practitioners, researchers, policymakers and institutional leaders to explore how technology can support and enhance University Lifelong Learning (ULLL) while keeping learners and communities at the centre of educational innovation.
As universities across Europe continue to respond to rapid technological change, demographic shifts and evolving skills needs, the conference will provide a valuable forum for exchanging experiences, sharing evidence-based practices and discussing strategic approaches to lifelong learning in higher education.
The programme will focus on three key areas:
- Using technology in University Lifelong Learning
- Designing and delivering high-quality ULLL provision
- Unlocking the potential of digital lifelong learning administration and management
Hosted by the University of Tartu, one of Northern Europe’s oldest and most respected universities, the conference will offer participants an opportunity to engage in forward-looking discussions on the future of lifelong learning and the role of technology in supporting more accessible, flexible and learner-centred educational opportunities.

Registration will start in November 2026.
The Early Bird Registration Fee (until 15 March) is:
- Members of eucen: 400€
- Non-members of eucen: 440€Stan
Standard Registration fee (from 16 March on) is:
- Members of eucen: 440€
- Non-members of eucen: 500
The Call for Contributions will open in autumn.
