eucen is delighted to congratulate our former President, Balázs Németh, on his re-election to the Steering Committee of the Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP), following the Platform’s General Assembly on 30 June 2026.

This marks Balázs’ second consecutive term on their Steering Committee, reflecting both his personal commitment to lifelong learning and the confidence placed in him by the membership of the Lifelong Learning Platform.

As the European association representing University Lifelong Learning (ULLL), eucen brings the perspective of higher education institutions to the Platform’s strategic discussions. Through its participation in the Steering Committee, EUCEN contributes to shaping policy dialogue and advocacy on lifelong learning at the European level, ensuring that universities play an active role in building inclusive, flexible and high-quality lifelong learning systems.

Balázs’ re-election ensures the continued representation of the university sector within the Platform’s leadership and strengthens EUCEN’s contribution to collaborative policy development alongside organisations representing learners, educators, civil society and other lifelong learning stakeholders across Europe.
