The University of Gdańsk (UG) and the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) organized the Bologna Conference: Academic developers in Polish universities – The context and the perspectives for development of academic pro-quality staff.

The initiative corresponds to series of meetings related to “Redesigning of Higher Education and Academy” – “RHEA” (UG) and “Network of LLL Institutions” (FRSE).

Academic development has recently been the field of intensive research and educational practices contributing to the growth of scientific thought and to the successful implementation of the contemporary reformatory processes. The newly-created discipline is engaging the increasing number of scientists.

The 9th RHEA Conference was an opportunity to deeply discuss about the most current and demanding problems, in particular about the conditions and future prospects of the academic developers’ activity in the field of higher education quality promotion.
