On October 9th 2024, the final conference of the PartnerUP project took place in Brussels, marking milestone in the project´s efforts to enhance the implementation of Upskilling Pathways. The project’s primary goal is to improve the implementation of Upskilling Pathways for the benefit of adult learners and increasing their participation in lifelong learning opportunities.
During the conference, the project consortium shared the key outcomes achieved over the past months. This included insights into stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, and collaboration building for greater outreach. Attendees also could get insights into concrete examples of successful stakeholder engagement from various countries, showcasing good practices in promoting adult education via stakeholder engagement.
A highlight of the event was the keynote presentation from Ann Branch, Head of Unit Skills Agenda at DG Employment, who presented the importance of making progress in stakeholder engagement within the fields of adult learning and skills development. Additionally, Laura Reynikova from the OECD offered valuable insights on the role of stakeholder collaboration in shaping education and skills policies.
