Carme Royo, Executive Director of eucen, has participated in the ETF conference in Torino (IT) 12-13 March 2025. She was part of the round table “How to tackle challenges through international collaboration and working in partnership” with the other 5 associations that form the VET4EU2 advisory group for DG EMPL. 

In particular Carme answered the question about achieving, maintaining and being a model for excellence in HE. Her answer included 7 points that, in her view, could help HEIs:

• Keep up with innovation
• Prioritise staff training
• Agile curricula review and update
• Strengthen work-based learning and apprenticeship programmes
• Continually integrate new technologies
• Proactive collaboration with employers
• Promote diversity and inclusion
