On 16 September, eucen’s National Networks representatives met in Brussels ahead of the eucen Policy Talks, bringing together representatives from across the Networks to exchange on current activities and upcoming opportunities for collaboration.

The meeting provided an opportunity to prepare for the Policy Talks and to look ahead to the eucen Autumn Seminar, which will take place in Barcelona on 19–20 November. The representatives also discussed the forthcoming National Networks thematic workshop on upskilling and reskilling for job, which will be held in November, before the Autumn Seminar.

A key moment of the Policy Talks was the active involvement of the National Networks themselves. Representatives from France, the Netherlands and the UK took part in Lightning Talks, sharing perspectives and examples from their national contexts on how recognition and validation of skills are approached in different countries to recognise, value and connect learning.

This contribution brought the experience and perspectives of the National Networks directly into the Policy Talks programme, alongside discussions with European and international stakeholders on the role of lifelong learning in a changing Europe.

Many thanks to all the National Network representatives for their active participation and continued collaboration with eucen!
