We are delighted to announce that the new proposal submitted by eucen in the Cooperation for Partnership Call has been approved for funding recently. We are at present organising the signature of the contract with the European Commission.

The SAMUELE project will allow eucen to work in the essence of our Association: the research and advancement of ULLL as a key tool to empower individuals via inclusive, flexible and equitable HE opportunities for all. The project will compare how ULLL is done in different EU countries currently, develop a self-assessment tool for HEIs to set targets for improvement in LLL programmes and strategies, and design a Policy Agenda to present and promote ULLL as key element of education in Europe. 

The tool for self-assessment will be tested during in the second year of the project – members of eucen interested in this opportunity are invited to request being one of the institutions piloting it. 

The consortium is formed by Civil Society, HEIs and VET providers. Work is planned to start in January 2025 and will last for 3 years.
