During the eucen Annual Conference 2026 in Cagliari, we were delighted to launch the inaugural eucen University Lifelong Learning (ULLL) Excellence Awards, recognising institutions whose commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to the eucen network have helped shape and strengthen University Lifelong Learning across Europe.
The awards recognise excellence across three categories: the Enduring Founders Award, honouring a founding member that has maintained continuous membership and engagement throughout eucen’s 35-year journey since 1991; the Founders Journey Award, recognising institutions that played a key role in establishing eucen and have remained connected to its vision of advancing ULLL in Europe; and the Longstanding Commitment Award, celebrating institutions whose sustained engagement has contributed to collaboration, policy development, and the evolution of lifelong learning across European higher education.
