On June 5th, the IncludeMe+ project was presented during the Democracy Talks, a live stream series on YouTube hosted by the Democrat Project. Funded by the Horizon Europe Programme of the European Union, the Democrat Project focuses on Education for Democracy to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of democratic practices.
The IncludeMe+ project closely related to the Democrat Project, aims to establish a more peaceful, participatory and democratic digital media space and to improve critical thinking. By empowering higher education institutions, media, civil society organizations, and students, it seeks to foster responsible and active collaboration in shaping future communication.
Emmanuel Acqua from the Abo Akademy University of Turku in Finland, the coordinator of the IncludeMe+ project, delivered a brief presentation and answered insightful questions during the session.
