Last week on November 18, 2024, the PROMISE project organised its International Virtual Workshop, an event that explored the transformative potential of Professional Noticing (PN) in entrepreneurship education. The workshop brought together experts, educators, and innovators to discuss how PN can shape entrepreneurial skills and approaches.

The session began with an introduction by Anthony Carthy (Momentum), who outlined what Professional Noticing is. He emphasized its focus on identifying, interpreting, and responding effectively to critical moments in learning and professional contexts. Carthy also highlighted how this skill can be fostered by embedding practical learning activities into educational resources, a cornerstone of the PROMISE project’s mission to enhance entrepreneurship education.

Following this, Isabell Grundschober (UCE Krems) chaired an engaging panel Q&A session featuring speakers Vesa Hautala, Asunción López-Varela Azcárate, and Carmen Reithmayr. Their lively discussions explored strategies for integrating PN into educational practices, sharing valuable insights for educators and practitioners looking to adopt this innovative approach.
