Professor Matthew Weait was Director of the Department for Continuing Education at the University of Oxford 2022-25.
Much of his academic career was spent in universities specialising in the provision of learning opportunities for mature and part-time learners, including Birkbeck, University of London and the UK's Open University. He was a member of eucen's Steering Committee until his retirement from Oxford, but he continues to support eucen's work as an ambassador and reviewer.
