On 16 September 2026, the MESHE partnership came together in Brussels for an intense full-day Peer Learning Seminar focused on one of the project’s key milestones: the development of the MESHE Advocacy and Motivation Pack for Learners.
The seminar provided an opportunity for partners to share and discuss the feedback collected in their respective countries through the Focus Discussion Groups. These discussions with learners provided valuable insights into their experiences, expectations and the barriers they may face when considering micro-credentials and other forms of flexible learning.
Building on this evidence, partners worked together to explore what the Advocacy and Motivation Pack should contain and how it can best respond to learners’ needs. A series of interactive workshops helped the partnership identify key content, consider how the different elements of the Pack could work together, and discuss ways of making the resources relevant and accessible to diverse groups of learners.
The day also provided an opportunity to agree on the next steps, responsibilities and deadlines for developing this important project output. The discussions will now feed directly into the work of the partners as they move from collecting and analysing learner perspectives to turning those insights into practical resources.
The Peer Learning Seminar was therefore an important step in ensuring that the MESHE Advocacy and Motivation Pack is grounded in learners’ voices and designed to address real barriers to participation.
The work continues over the coming months, with partners collaborating on the development and refinement of the Pack ahead of its completion. Next meeting: November in Barcelona!
