eucen is seeking an external independent evaluator for UniLab, to start working 15 January 2020 and continue his/her work until the end of the project (i.e. 14 January 2023).
eucen expects the external evaluator to comment on the planning of internal quality and tools; provide formative feedback and summative evaluation at the meetings that attends in oral form, as well as in the middle and end of the project in formal written reports. The interim report will inform the consortium about strengths in the process, but also about weaknesses, challenges or constraints, while recommending possible solutions. He/She will propose evaluation questionnaires for partner meetings, visits, valorisation events and activities, and overall assess the final project outputs against initial aims and purposes.
In order to be able to assess the project’s progress adequately, the external evaluator will attend 6 face-to-face meetings and will be invited to participate in the scheduled virtual partners meetings that are organised throught the project. The dates of the meetings will be indicated to the selected candidate.
For the expected formative evaluation the external evaluator will perform the following tasks:
– Proposition of a detailed progress evaluation plan at the beginning of the project
– Delivery of one interim evaluation report (in mid-2021 – exact date will be confirmed) which will inform the consortium about strengths, weaknesses, challenges or constraints in the processes, and recommend solutions.
– Delivery of one final evaluation report (in mid-January 2023) evaluating the process input and outcomes in terms of meeting the original aims of the project.
The project foresees a maximum of 15 full days of work, remunerated on a daily rate basis (excluding days associated to trips). The contract shall be awarded to the tender offering the best price-quality ratio. Travel and subsistence expenses for all meetings mentioned above will be covered in addition.
eucen will only accept dated and signed offers to undertake this task until 12:00a.m. CET on Friday, 18 December 2019. The offers must be prepared in English language and should contain:
– a dated and signed letter of interest to undertake this task
– a quotation for the work to be undertaken
– an updated CV
