One of eucen’s key objectives is to strengthen the development and institutional capacity of University Lifelong Learning (ULLL) across Europe. To support this mission, eucen offers its members a range of opportunities for collaboration, exchange and mutual learning – from strategic peer support and operational guidance to one-to-one mentoring between members. Sessions can be done online, face-to-face in Barcelona or at members’ institutions.
These initiatives are designed to respond to different institutional needs and challenges, while fostering knowledge exchange between members and between eucen and its community. Through these activities, members can benefit from peer support, technical guidance and strategic collaboration.
Have you ever wished for an external expert to visit your institution, meet your team and help identify practical solutions to your challenges?
eucen now offers its members Peer Support Visits designed to strengthen institutional ULLL principles and strategies. Each visit is tailored to the specific needs of the host institution and provides hands-on guidance, peer exchange and strategic support to help advance your ULLL development. The visits would include one or two meetings with your team, depending on the topic and the difficulty.
A member of the Steering Committee of eucen (or another expert) would normally travel to your university and sit with you to discuss your specific challenge and identify possible solutions.
These opportunities are available to eucen members only. Sign in to the Members’ Room to access the application forms.
Looking for guidance on EU-funded projects or specific tools to support your ULLL team at your institution?
eucen’s Clinic Sessions offer members a focused opportunity to discuss practical questions with the eucen team. These sessions provide a supportive space to benefit from eucen’s expertise on EU-funded projects and the design of ULLL tools.
Clinics can address topics related to EU funding, proposal development or project management, such as identifying funding opportunities, preparing project proposals, designing budgets for EU-funded projects, or building partnerships.
Sessions can take place online or in person (at the eucen Barcelona office) and are tailored to the needs of the requesting member institution.
These opportunities are available to eucen members only. Sign in to the Members’ Room to access the application forms.
Would you like to discuss a specific challenge with a colleague from another institution who has faced a similar situation?
Through the Mentor–Mentee Pairings, eucen connects members for a focused one-to-one exchange aimed at sharing experience, practical advice and perspectives on institutional challenges related to University Lifelong Learning.
Participants are matched based on their interests, expertise and the topic they wish to explore. Each pairing meets for a single online mentoring session, providing a simple but effective opportunity to benefit from peer experience within the vast eucen network.
These exchanges can help participants gain new insights, explore possible approaches and learn from practices implemented in other institutions.
