eucen‘s President, Pascal Paschoud, has written an article for the University of Basel’s magazine: the “Advance Studies”.
The article reviews the current role of lifelong learning, its relevance as fundamental driver for sustainable economic development, societal cohesion and a strengthener of democratic values. You will find some insights on strategy, policies and organisation, access, innovation and adaptation, and also the connection of all these areas with eucen and the support that we give to our members and stakeholders such as the European Commission.
As Pascal Paschoud says at the end of the article, the current landscape presents unprecedented opportunities for ULLL and the providers of ULLL as different policy levels have acknowledged it as an important and necessary gear in our society.
