25 February 2026

We are delighted to announce that the registration is now open for the forthcoming eucen Conference 2026, which will take place in Cagliari, Sardinia.

This year’s conference will once again bring together university leaders, lifelong learning professionals, researchers, policymakers and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to exchange knowledge, share innovative practices and reflect on the evolving role of university lifelong learning in today’s rapidly changing world.

At a time when Europe is navigating the green and digital transitions, demographic shifts, and increasing demands for inclusion and equity, universities play a crucial role in supporting upskilling, reskilling and widening participation. The EUCEN Conference offers a unique platform to:

  • Explore strategic approaches to university lifelong learning

  • Discuss policy developments at European and national levels

  • Share research findings and practical case studies

  • Build partnerships across institutions and countries

  • Strengthen the voice of lifelong learning within higher education

Hosted in the vibrant city of Cagliari by the University of Cagliari, participants will also have the opportunity to experience Sardinia’s rich cultural heritage while engaging in stimulating discussions and collaborative exchanges.
