We are pleased to announce the official launch of the SAMUELE project website, marking an important milestone in our effort to strengthen University Lifelong Learning (ULLL) across Europe.

SAMUELE – Self-Assessment Model for Universities Embracing Lifelong Learning in Europe – is a project co-funded by Erasmus+ and coordinated by eucen. It is dedicated to supporting European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in enhancing transparency and improving the quality of their lifelong learning provision.

At the heart of the project is the development of practical self-assessment tools that allow universities to reflect on how they organise, deliver, and evolve their ULLL programmes. By empowering institutions to assess their current practices, SAMUELE helps lay the foundation for continuous improvement and stronger alignment with European education goals.

The website introduces the project’s structure, methodology, and next steps. It also offers HEIs an opportunity to submit a case study and showcase good practice.
