The SIM project introduces an innovative approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that emphasizes the social impact dimension of companies by strengthening their links with communities. This initiative aims to cultivate a new profile of manager—the Social Impact Manager—equipped with diverse skills essential for achieving not only financial growth but also social and environmental well-being in communities.

 

To define the competencies of the Social Impact Manager and develop the training program for this role, the project conducted extensive research to identify community and business needs. This research included 45 stakeholder interviews, a survey with 386 responses from local businesses, and validation through focus groups and workshops in Austria, Croatia, France, Greece, and Italy.
