SIM Training Programme Implementation Event Highlights Practical Learning and Collaboration
On 24 March, eucen hosted an online event dedicated to the implementation of the SIM (Social Impact Manager) Training Programme, bringing together partners, participants, and stakeholders from across Europe.
The session, led by Francesca Uras and Aisha Krüger, presented how the programme has been implemented across Greece, Italy, France, Croatia, and Austria. It outlined the structured approach guiding participants from the open call to final evaluation, with a strong focus on experiential learning.
Key practical components of the programme were highlighted, including hackathons, cooperation schemes with organisations, and the development of final projects. These activities enabled participants to engage with real social impact challenges and apply their knowledge in organisational contexts, strengthening collaboration between academia, businesses, and civil society.
A particularly valuable part of the event was the contribution of programme participants, who shared their experiences and reflections, offering direct insight into the impact of the training.
Looking ahead, the SIM project will deliver further results, including a Case Studies Report on cooperation schemes and social impact projects, and Policy Recommendations on the development of the Social Impact Manager profile, targeted at higher education institutions, VET providers, and policymakers.
The project will conclude with the SIM Final Conference, taking place in Milan on 5–6 May 2026, hosted by UNIMIB in collaboration with Project School and Manageritalia.
The event confirmed the value of the SIM Programme as an innovative approach to developing social impact competences through a combination of structured learning and real-world application.
