eucen‘s annual formal policy event took place on 25 September at the Info Hub of the European Parliament (Brussels).
With a group of over 20 stakeholders, the session started with the presentation of eucen‘s understanding of LLL ecosystems and also real cases of LLL ecosystems (in NL and FR).
After this, a very interesting panel started:
The whole participants discussed the conditions for the creation and sustainability of Lifelong Learning ecosystems enabling the development of the necessary skills for employability, inclusion and social cohesion. Among many important topics, the challenge for universities to make LLL a strategic priority was discussed, as well as the many many EU initiatives for the development of LLL and tools to facilitate participation, such as individual learning accounts, which are set to be developed in many European countries over the next 5 years.
