Last week eucen attended the kick-off meeting of a new ERASMUS+ project coordinated by the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna.
The project is called UNIBILITY and aims at strenghtening the relationships of universities with their local communities through USR (University Social Responsibility) activities. Specifically the project will develop strategies how universities can increase their social responsibility on student and researcher level, and will develop USR service learning projects impacting the local community in the area of environmental, social or economic research. Learning networks between universities and local business partners will also be created.
UNIBILITY will contribute to improving relevance of universities in society and bridge the gap existing between the world of academia and local community actors. It will promote the role of universities as drivers for the development of new markets and create real opportunities for growth.
The website of the project will soon be available and will be published on our website. Keep following eucen news to know more about the project activities!
