As part of the celebrations marking eucen‘s 35th anniversary, we launched the #WeAreEUCEN initiative, inviting members from across our network to record short video messages expressing their connection to the association.

The response has been inspiring. To date, we have received 35 videos from members representing a wide range of universities, countries, and lifelong learning contexts across Europe and beyond. Each video carries a simple but powerful message: #WeAreEUCEN.

These individual contributions have now been compiled into a collective video that celebrates the diversity, commitment, and shared values of our community. Together, they highlight the strength of a network that has been advancing university lifelong learning for 35 years. You can watch the video below.

The initiative remains open, and we encourage more members to take part. We will continue collecting videos until 31 October 2026, after which a Volume 2 video will be produced.

Thank you to all those who have already contributed and helped showcase the people and institutions that make eucen what it is today: a vibrant community working together to promote lifelong learning in higher education.
