The Steering Committee is elected by the General Assembly of eucen to assist carrying out the Association’s objectives.
The Committee meets face-to-face normally three times a year, while several online meetings are organised ad hoc. Some of the face-to-face meetings are connected to eucen events:
The functions of the Steering Committee are defined in the Statutes. The Committee has full powers to conduct the business of eucen and is subject to the competence of the General Assembly. The President is the legal representative of eucen and, if necessary, can take decisions and then report them to the appropriated body for ratification. Every full member of the Steering Committee has one vote.
The Steering Committee has the duty to appoint a Vice-President, a Secretary General and a Treasurer. The Steering Committee can also nominate tasks to individuals, allocate co-options and approve working groups.
