The SMILE project in together with the 2023 eucen Autumn Seminar have launched a Call for Contributions on Diversity and Inclusion in Higher Education.

In our multi-cultural societies, there is a richness of ideas, preferences, customs and viewpoints. This offers endless possibilities for learning and growth. However, sometimes political and economic factors overshadow the opportunities that diversity brings with it. Universities can play a crucial role in countering this trend, and ensuring that such opportunities are recognised and that the potential of diversity is fully realised. But, are universities prepared to go ‘that extra mile’ towards diversity and inclusion?

We will be accepting abstracts until 22 September 2023. Please, use the form that you will find in the paper of this Call. Thanks.

The best abstracts (most transferable, innovative and inspiring) will be short-listed for the SMILE Diversity Award 2023. Three prizes will be awarded. Do not miss this opportunity!
